The Dashboard - November 2009





The dashboard 'lining' is fitted.

Then a chrome edging is attached before the instrument panel and various 'dials'

go into the dashboard. And you defenitely require a stool for the job !!

The Carburetors 15th November 2009



Such an important part of the motor -

these two carburetors were overhauled

by Gavin before being fitted.

The finicky door catches were among the many small items to be fitted and adjusted - all taking considerable time !

This was the box with parts ordered from the UK.
among which were ...........
clutch adj rod, lever clutch, clutch link etc etc etc.........
cable choke, cable starter, fuel pipe etc.........
exhaust system for MG TD, coupling kit,
switch starter, horn brkt LH
body, bulb holder etc etc etc.........
side covers TD leather kit - sleeve seat back, strip set s/scn
V. panel & vinyl tri..........
seat slides, oil guage tube, connecter start cable
etc, etc, etc and many other small items !!!
Rather a super 'stand' which it arrived on do`nt you think ????
